On March 27, Royal Oak Phoenix Chapter’s Aaron P., PMC, became the youngest Master Ritualist in Michigan DeMolay history. At 15 years old, Proudfoot has set a new state record for ritual excellence.

This means that, from start to finish, Bro. Aaron can open and close an entire meeting from memory, and get through the entire initiation process for new members entirely from memory. That kind of memorization is equivalent to the ability to recite an entire off-Broadway play, without prompts and without help. It’s truly a feat!

In doing so, Aaron is issuing a challenge to the rest of Michigan DeMolay: Who’s next? Nobody can use the excuse, “I’m too young” anymore. Only two years into his DeMolay career and Aaron is nearly at the top of the charts. Who will challenge him? How young will the next Master Ritualist be?
