Last Sunday, Michigan DeMolay held its annual Ritualfest competition, in which DeMolays competed for the right to represent their state at this year’s Heartland Tournament of Champions. For the uninitiated, DeMolay ritual is made up of the various prescribed and scripted ways in which young men open and close their meetings, induct new members into the Order, and present their values and ideals to the public. Needless to say, these gentlemen conducted themselves very impressively, and demonstrated a knowledge of our Order and our ceremonies that would do anybody proud!
These young men are now eligible to compete at the upcoming interstate tournament this Fall. We wish them the best of luck!

Michigan DeMolay also held auditions, using the same tournament format, for members to try out for the State DeMolay Degree Team. Competition was tight for many roles, and everybody did an outstanding job! Without further ado, the new State DeMolay Degree Team is as follows:

Congratulations to all our winners, and thank you to all the DeMolays from around Michigan who participated this past weekend! Our ceremonies are part of what sets us apart and makes us unique, and it’s awesome to see so much enthusiasm for it! Keep doing what you’re doing, and don’t stop encouraging your chapters to get on the ball and join you in achieving ritual perfection!
